The White Duck

The White Duck is a 20-minute musical, written at the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU Tisch, with book and lyrics by Maria Elizabeth White and music by Utsav Bhargava. Based on the Russian folk tale of the same name, it places the story in a contemporary setting. Liam, the mayor of a small town, has a drug problem which exasperates his wife, Audrey. When she sends him to a rehab clinic, her past comes back to haunt them.
